It’s not hard to be happy despite all the negative things that happen to us each day. As much as possible I want to think on the positive side. I want to share something nice, something that could make another person happy and not to dampen my friend’s mood or who ever I’m talking to. A smile on the lips, a pat on the back, a warm hug from a family or a friend are just simple gestures but is worth a million or more. It can make a person’s day happier that somehow there’s somebody who cares, there’s somebody who loves him/her, there’s somebody who reaches out with positive aura thus making all the people around feel good. It is of big importance of how we make other people feel good. Being grumpy and cold makes you sadder and all the negative vibes will be on you. You’ll start to think all the negative things and you’ll be paranoid of a person’s actions against you.

Even if you wake up on the wrong side of the bed then it’s up to you if you’ll going to continue the show of sprinkling negative vibes to the people around you. As a mother of two kids, even if I feel down due to some physical exhaustion of running the house of juggling different roles in my everyday life still the show must go on, still I have to be happy if I’ll succumb myself to that negative feelings then everybody will be affected so it’s really a big thing that has a huge impact on our life, it’s just a matter of choosing what you want for yourself and for your family.

If you want yourself to be miserable then go on and make your self miserable and other people lives miserable but how would you know if other people also wants to be sad, or to be a part of your pack? If you want a direct answer, then here it is, go on and make your self miserable and I’ll go on with my happy life.Why it’s sometimes difficult to say nice things? Why sometimes it is difficult to accept some simple truths on things? Why sometimes people can’t help but notice the negative things and linger much on that aspect rather than look on the positive side. Why some people are happier to know that somebody is struggling to keep his/her life better? 

We live only once in this world. We have only one life then why not make it richer in love and generosity. Giving love to others can make a person happy. You can make a difference in this world. Start your day with a smile. Hug and forgive what you think others have failed you. Smile more and talk with sincerity. Offer genuine help that comes from the heart and not the fake one which makes you more sad if you found out that the person you have given your help somehow found his/her way out from the dark and soared high. It’s the feeling of compassion. Again we live only once and better make it a happy one. Daddy God is waiting for you:) 

Movie time is after dinner (if it’s still early)  and on the weekends. Sometimes we watch 3 movies in a row. |We are waiting for the new episodes of TV series 24, LOST, Prisonbreak, HEROES and American Idol.

Have you ever had a nuisance caller? We have this caller who calls 4 times a day and he sounded like a man who has nothing to do for a day from a construction site or a place with a very annoying sound. He’s quite irritating just imagine myself putting my kids to a nap then the phone would ring or sometimes he would call as early as 7 in the morning; it’s like our landline number is part of his to call activity for 5 consecutive days.

So how on earth did that human being got our number? Maybe he randomly made a 7 digit number and dialled our number.

On his first call I told him “wrong number”. And then after a minute he called back again with urgency in his voice he’s telling something I can’t understand since he can’t speak straight English language and again I told him that I can’t understand what’s he’s saying and he’s calling again a wrong number  that’s the first day he called us.

The following day he called again twice then I called my hubby in his office to call this man so he’ll stop bothering us. By the way, this is his number 6619779, I memorized this number since the combination is easy to put in the head and heaven forbid me I want to wring his neck for not forgetting to call our number.

My hubby contacted this person thru that number and he denied that he placed a call to our landline number. Str told him that we have a caller ID in the house so we know who’s calling us but still he said that he did not call our number. My hubby got also pissed off that he called again this person and told him that we’ll report him to the police just to make him stop.

The 3rd day he called again. I did not answer the phone when his number registed as the caller then the 4th day and then the last day is the 5th day, he called only once then thanks God he stopped! I guess for now since he did not call our number again.

Sean celebrated his 2nd birthday party last Sunday in Burger King. The party went well but the celebrant dozed off before the party started. We arrived 3o minutes before the party time and they played with new friends,  Matt and Thea while waiting for our friends to come. The celebrant got tired from running and playing with the balloons and I guess the cold syrup made him doze off too.

We were trying to wake him up but he slept like there was no party going on. He would have loved to play the games but everytime I would whisper on his ear to wake him up he just slept peacefully. Just a few minutes away from blowing his birthday cake I let him stand while in my arms on the table and his eyes opened I guess he was a bit surprised to see more visitors and more kids in the party room so there he made it before the party ended.

Ate Andrea and the kids enjoyed playing some games and as well as the parents. The dads played the paper dance and we had a blast seeing each pair of dads doin’ some strategy on how to fit the two of them each time the newspaper is being folded into smaller sizes.

Moms got also the chance to play, the musical chair game, to top it all not only the kids had their blast but as well as the parents. Only that Burger King did not give prizes to those who won in the adult games unlike McDonald’s and the staffs are not so prepared. They just distributed the party hats to the kids on the middle of the games not on the start of the party.

To those our friends who came and especially to those who live away from Doha who have had to endure a very long drive just to celebrate with us, thank, thank you very much. And thanks also to Sean’s Ninongs and Ninay’s who remembered him on his birthday even they are so far they sent us e-mails and messages. Thanks for the thoughtfulness, for the love, for the prayers and for always remembering.

Thanks for the gifts, mind you, my boy was so happy the night we reached home after the party. Opening his gifts with the help of Ate Andrea was so exciting that the two of them can’t keep themselves from gasping everytime they would open a toy. They kept on smiling and my li’l boy was so fidgety with so much excitement. They have lots of toys but with the sight of wrapped gifts and the tearing of gift wrap and the unfolding of new toys which are mainly for boys made Sean more happy.

He also received lots of shirts, pants and pajamas that he could use during winter time and a 3-piece suit too!:)

And Thank you Daddy God for another wonderful year and the years to come for our son…

My wish is just simple…great health and happiness. No mom in this world would be more happy with a healthy and a happy child. Mommy, daddy and ate Andrea love you very much!

It maybe not so vivid in his mind how we celebrated his birthday party, with his age of two what may only register there are the cake, gifts, friends but for sure the feelings, emotions of being loved will be carved in his heart forever.

Even his great pals were not there to celebrate with him (hehehe of course his friends like Barney, BJ, Baby Bop, Tasha, Tyrone, Uniqua, Austin, Pablo & Orry) he always mentions that they were there with him.
